Keric Allenbrook is a wellness-focused chiropractor with a passion for helping people achieve better health through improved movement, healthy lifestyle habits, and natural, patient-centred care. He holds a Master of Technology in Chiropractic from Durban University of Technology (DUT) and a Bachelor of Science in Human Physiology and Clinical Psychology from the University of Cape Town (UCT).

He also practised in Doha, Qatar, further broadening his experience working with people from diverse backgrounds and lifestyles.

Having received regular chiropractic care since the age of 13, Keric has seen first-hand the positive impact chiropractic can have on long-term health and wellbeing. This personal experience inspired his career and continues to shape his approach to patient care today.

Keric has a particular interest in stress management, family wellness, sports performance, posture and ergonomics, and lifestyle and habit change. His philosophy is simple: help people move better, support the body’s natural ability to heal and adapt, and address the lifestyle factors that influence overall health. His goal is not only to help patients overcome pain and discomfort, but to empower them to build lasting health and wellbeing for years to come.

MEET DR. JOSH

Dr Joshua Korten started his journey in Chiropractic over 15 years ago. As a young teen at the time, he was dealing with headaches and migraines 2-3 times every single week. His mom, Judy, would take his whole family for a Chiropractic tune up every few months just because she thought it made sense to deal with all the growth spurts and tumbles that kids or teens can take. However, this didn’t seem to be cutting it for Josh’s teenage symptoms. Eventually Josh went and saw a different Chiropractor who analyzed and measured the structure and angles within his neck. His X-rays weren’t a pretty sight as his neck had lost most of the curve it’s supposed to have and certain parts of his neck were quite misaligned. However, once they started to address these underlying structural problems with specific adjustments, his headaches and migraines quickly became a thing of the past. Soon after, he made the decision to help other people with their headaches, migraines, posture problems, sports injuries, and decreased quality of life as well… by studying to become a Chiropractor!

Dr Josh moved from Canada and studied at Life University in Atlanta, Georgia, USA where he graduated Cum Laude in 2016. He trained in a wide variety of Chiropractic analysis and adjusting techniques while in the states, enabling him to have a large toolbox when it comes to adjusting the spine and optimizing the nervous system. Throughout school he was passionate about helping people with severe spinal problems like scoliosis, herniated discs, reversed neck curves, debilitating migraines, or intense vertigo. He loves helping everyday adults with their posture problems and pain issues. He also has a special interest in optimizing the performance of Crossfit, endurance, or sports athletes, passionately encouraging everyone to embrace their full health potential. When not in the office you can find him enjoying the sunshine and ocean at Saunders Beach, going on hikes with the family, spending time at Green Point Park with his little girl, or working out at Motley Crew Crossfit.

MEET DR. HANNAH KORTEN

Dr Hannah Korten is a Chiropractor with a passion for seeing all people embrace their full potential. Whether it’s newborns, kids, pregnant mamas, young adults, or those a little further along, Dr Hannah uses her skills of gentle adjustments to help you get out of pain, correct your posture, and improve how your body functions and operates at every stage of life. With a special interest in Pediatric and Perinatal Chiropractic, along with several certifications from overseas study in this area, Dr Hannah firmly believes and teaches that “A pregnant Mama’s spine, pelvis and centre of gravity are changing daily as her baby grows inside her! It is a beautiful thing to care for a mom with the art and science of Chiropractic as her body adapts to carrying that child and preparing for birth.”

Dr Hannah completed her Chiropractic training in South Africa at the Durban University of Technology. Her Masters Thesis was in the field of Neurophysiology as she studied and tested the effect of neck adjustments on proprioception, balance and electrical activity of muscles. Dr Hannah then furthered her training in Paediatrics and Pregnancy by attending local seminars hosted by Dr Steve Williams and a dozen or so seminars, while living in North America, from the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA). She also received her Webster Certification during her time abroad in the United States.
